Flashtags: Months and #1-12
What to do with so many shape makers?
After a little pondering, I came up with the idea to make some things to hand by our school room door. Little tags with shapes on them. That evolved into creating things out of the shapes. Which evolved into creating themes for each month of the year. Which turned into something I'd like to call, flashtags. These are great to use as flashcards, decorations, or for a scrapbook. Enjoy...
1. Punch out the tags and shapes creating these collages - but the challenge is to use only shapes, no personally cut shapes unless it is to cut a shape in half.
2. Add black marks for detailling to clarify what the subject matter is and to write on the month.
3. Back the tags with white card stock cut in the same tag shape. Add black number stickers.
4. Either hang or save in a stack for flash cards. The child can be shown either the month or the number, and have to guess the opposite.
