Here’s the Plan
Here’s the plan we drew up this morning. Very technical…
1st we pack the boxes. Of course I made labels for all the boxes, which nearly all are packed. The pink tape means FRAGILE and the green tape is OPEN ME FIRST. Most boxes are from the grocery store, liquor store, and a diaper company – which came from a big pile we found for free on Craigslist. The creepiest of all the boxes we found are the Vodka boxes that stare at me each time I enter the garage.
That pile is all we have left to fill. Luckily I am over-organized, and everything else is already in bins.
Jonathan (16 months old) is the most enthused about cleaning up and doing school. He puts stuff in the boxes for me, and often takes it out! Sabrina age 3 refuses to be potty trained. Here she is lining up her pullups and grouping by princess designs – on the empty shelves. So changing two kids often takes up my free time.
2nd on the list: Go to Mamaw and Papa’s for a few days. Spending time with them, Auntie Annie, Uncle Michael and puppy Ginger. They can take a turn changing all those diapers. :-P
3rd The Moving Truck comes and hauls our stuff away. In which we say a final goodbye to our house.
4th Tom and Melissa go sign all the paperwork for sale and purchase. It is in this moment you wish you could just stamp your signature, or had a shorter name!
5th we clean the new house and the next morning the truck arrives with all our stuff.
Print out your own moving truck!
6th and Finally, Mamaw (grandma) brings the kids over so we can all live happily ever after in our new home.
I pray it goes that smooth!
